We hope that you enjoyed the holidays and welcomed 2023 with fun, family, and friends! If you are new to our little yarn shop in Spring, TX, we hope you keep returning for all that we have planned. If you are one of our local regulars, you have probably noticed a few changes to our online store and marketing. We are working hard to expand the Yarn Store Boutique shopping experience and welcoming community to knitters, crocheters, and crafters both near and far. We hope for our online store to serve as an extension of our shop in Texas.
What to expect in the coming year.
Going National.
At Yarn Store Boutique, we are rarely short of creative ideas for events, projects, or making our customers feel extra special. We want to take this further in 2023 with more knit kits and classes available for our customers nationwide. You may have noticed our YSB Exclusive knit kits that include pattern, yarn, supplies (excluding needles), and video tutorials of techniques used in each kit. These videos are available to those that purchase a kit. Did we mention you have direct access to shop owner Doris to get your questions answered? If you are a new knitter in Indiana, hop on a Zoom with Doris to get past those difficult steps.
Look forward to more services and products for our customers both near and far. We want everyone to feel that Yarn Store Boutique is their own local yarn store. You know, the one where you can pop in for a custom order of that one skein you need to finish your project. We get it. ;)
Rewards.
In order to achieve our vision of a local yarn store experience for those in distant states, we moved our point of sale and website to the Shopify platform. This has helped us tremendously with achieving our goals. It comes with some changes to our longtime way of doing things, though. One change is our rewards system. The process for attaining and redeeming points has improved. It requires each person to create their account on our website, though. You will see a pink oval with a white star on our website. Click on that to follow instructions to set up your account and view how to earn and redeem rewards. We’ve added some new ways to get points besides just spending money too!! We hope to expand this reward program and its offerings to our customers in 2023.
In-Store Shopping.
We are still stocking our shelves, hosting events, and classes at our store at 8900 Eastloch Drive! You may notice that we no longer provide paper receipts. It will be email and text going forward! This will be a huge cost-savings to us so that we can keep doing what we do best - spoil our customers.
